Help Prevent Prescription Drug Abuse

COUNT IT! LOCK IT! DROP IT!

Founded in Coffee County, Tennessee, this program aims to prevent prescription drug abuse through community education and through partnerships with local law enforcement.

The program encourages the public to count their medications every two weeks, to lock them up, and to dispose of unwanted medications at dropboxes at participating law enforcement locations. In our area, these include the Monteagle and Tracy City Police Departments and the Grundy County Sheriff's Office in Altamont.
