UNDERAGE DRINKING

In addition to the risks of alcohol abuse, many young people may not understand the risks of binge drinking. Symptoms of binge drinking include:

  • queasiness and vomiting

  • seizures

  • disorientation and confusion

  • blacking out

  • irregular breathing

​

Binge drinking can also lead to alcohol poisoning. Alcohol poisoning can be fatal. Symptoms of alcohol poisoning include: 

​

  • loss of consciousness 

  • seizures

  • confusion

  • vomiting

  • drop in body temperature

  • slow, irregular breathing â€‹

​

Not only it's drinking underage a crime, but it's also illegal for an adult to serve or purchase alcohol for people who are under 21.
